Purpose and Philosophy

We come together to do our life’s work, and this, we cannot do alone.

To remove blind spots.

Blind spots are unexamined beliefs and biases we don’t know we have that distort our view. They start out indistinct and get clearer with repeated dreams and thought patterns, until we can no longer remain oblivious. Blind spots are stubborn and persistent, but they give us the chance to see them and pay attention. Together, we work to go from hindsight to insight.

To create new beliefs.

Our dream work helps us to uncover limiting beliefs and create new ones so that our thoughts and actions manifest our truest desires and make us more whole.

To use our intuitive gifts.

Each of us has God-given intuitive powers, and when we come together, that power is multiplied. The beauty of dreamwork is that we need not know or ask the personal details of our daily lives to help one another. Through making meaning of dreams, we have a chance to practice using our gifts.

To see reflections of ourselves.

According to Jungian psychology, the characters we encounter in our dreams are often various aspects of ourselves. Our recurring dreams show us the pieces of ourselves that are stuck at certain ages. Our dream work, we help each other grow up spiritually. In our group, we may also hear dreams about us that others have, and we stay open to the messages others have for us.

To feel more awake and alive.

We use our nighttime dreams to help our daytime dreams come true. We playfully try out new things in our dreams, so we can test before acting on them in our waking lives. When we test things out in our waking lives, we try new ways of being. One dream can have the power to shift us in big ways.

To build our toolbox.

Each time we meet, we learn new tools for us to use in our dream work. Yet we only need a few of them to do all the work that is needed.

To work at our own pace.

We respect we other’s pace and level of their dream work. Some of us will come with journals, while some already have worked on a dream before sharing. Some of us are advanced lucid dreamers. Still others are working on remembering dreams. All of us are working on following our dreams and living lucidly - no matter where we are in our own work.

To feel connected, secure… AND HAVE FUN!

Dreams contain universal symbols from the collective unconscious that connects us. Each time we listen to another’s dream, we learn something about ourselves. Since 1/3 of our time is spent sleeping, our dreams can add a new dimension of fun to our lives. Dreams are fantasy and magical! We can be the detectives in our own life’s mystery novel.

Together - we laugh, we cry, and we find meaning.
